Terry DeRosa is a senior operating executive with more than three decades of experience leading complex organizations through growth, restructuring, and scaled operations across government and commercial markets. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Interim Chief Financial Officer at Ankura, where he oversaw enterprise operations and financial performance in support of the firm’s global advisory platform.
Prior to Ankura, Mr. DeRosa served as Chief Executive Officer and Director of IAP Worldwide Services, leading a global workforce of 5,000 employees operating in the U.S. and aboard and often in austere and contingency environments. In this role, he partnered closely with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team to define and execute long-range corporate strategy, stabilize operations following a major restructuring, and position the company for sustained growth. Previously, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, he was instrumental in executing IAP’s post-2014 turnaround, restoring financial discipline, improving operational efficiency, and driving strategic expansion, including the successful acquisition of two business units from DRS Technologies.
Earlier in his career, Mr. DeRosa served as Chief Financial Officer of Kestrel Enterprises, where he helped scale the business through its acquisition by Boeing. He also held the role of President of the largest business unit at DRS Technologies, with full P&L responsibility for a diversified portfolio of defense and technology programs. His operating background further includes foundational experience in financial controls and audit at United Technologies Corporation.
