Gordon is a seasoned leader with over 20 years in operations, strategic planning, and data-driven decision-making, delivering impactful solutions across the government and commercial sectors including national security (C4ISR), insurance, automotive, and aerospace. Known for his ability to navigate complex environments, Gordon delivers actionable intelligence, drives operational excellence, and optimizes processes to align with and capture strategic business goals.

Commercially, Gordon’s deep experience encompasses start-up environments where he has established, scaled, and led critical business functions including HR, finance, customer service, and IT functions. His strategic insights and acumen in financial planning proved critical during multiple funding rounds in a recent venture where he developed cash flow models, optimized resource allocations, and ensured seamless product lifecycle management.

Previously, Gordon applied his expertise in financial modeling and strategic initiatives at General Motors to identify over $1B in cost-saving opportunities through various arbitrage opportunities in the electric vehicle and fuel efficiency credit environment. Further, Gordon’s record of operational excellence includes his tenure at Boeing. While supporting over $300B in aircraft sales, he revitalized the competitive and market intelligence team and its processes by enhancing market analysis, implementing intelligence analysis tools and best practices, and fostering improved knowledge sharing and coordination throughout the enterprise.

Gordon’s leadership foundation was established during his U.S. Army service. Attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant and managing joint-service teams, he earned accolades for his operational and leadership accomplishments at a national-level intelligence agency. This military background, combined with his corporate experience, underpins Gordon’s ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive strategic initiatives, and deliver results under pressure.

Gordon holds an MBA in Finance from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington, a BA in History from the University of Pittsburgh, and an AA in Chinese Language and Culture from the Defense Language Institute. Gordon currently resides in the metro Detroit area.
